Above the City, Beyond the Fear: My Stay at The Lana, Dubai

Although Dubai is my home, I often find myself checking into different hotels around the city. For me, Dubai is the city of heights — and there’s something magical about staying on the top floors of a skyscraper, where you can see the entire city stretching endlessly beneath you like a glittering tapestry.

But can I tell you a secret? As a child, I was afraid of heights. Terrified, actually. And now, staying in a suite perched at the top of a tower that can sway up to two meters with the wind — it's become a powerful reminder: only by facing your fears can you truly see how high you can go.

This week I escaped to the serene luxury of The Lana, Dubai — a hotel where every detail whispers elegance. My suite felt like it was floating above the city, and yes, I took that iconic bath with the view. The skyline wrapped around me like a dream — glass towers, warm sunlight, and that feeling of being suspended between the sky and the world below.
