Maltese Falcon

There are days you remember not for what happened, but for how they made you feel. This was one of them.

I had been looking forward to this moment — spending time on one of the world’s most beautiful sailing yachts, the Maltese Falcon by Jumeirah Group.
For a brand long synonymous with the most iconic sail on Dubai’s skyline, this feels like a natural evolution — now bringing that same identity to the sea with a sailing yacht that is, quite simply, one of the most beautiful in the world.
We woke up early to reach the yacht by tender from Jumeirah Mallorca — already a moment in itself, gliding across the calm morning water.
On board, we were welcomed by Captain Pierfrancesco Cafaro and his team, with that effortless sense of service Jumeirah is known for. From the very first moments, everything slows down.
The yacht itself is pure beauty — 88 metres, six cabins, expansive yet intimate. There’s always a quiet corner to retreat to, a sense of privacy that feels completely natural.
We sailed along the Mallorca coastline, taking in the most incredible views — soft light, dramatic cliffs, endless horizon. The day unfolded slowly: sunbathing, moving between decks, enjoying beautiful meals, and simply being present.
The dining deserves its own mention — light, refined, with a touch of Capri (the chef is from there), perfectly matching the mood of the day.
And at some point, you realise — everything is exactly as it should be.
This wasn’t just a day on a yacht. It was a feeling you want to return to.
