Hello, beloved!
Sometimes there are cities that never let you go. For me, Florence has always been one of those cities — a place I’m always drawn to return to again and again. After a long time away, I finally found myself back here, in a city that always greets me like an old friend, filled with history, art, and endless inspiration.
This time, I stayed at Portrait Firenze — a hotel that blends sophistication with modern Florentine style. Its windows overlook the Arno River, offering a breathtaking view of the Ponte Vecchio. Staying here feels like traveling through time, with every detail of the interior reminding me of Renaissance elegance. I felt at home, surrounded by beauty that enveloped me in a cozy tranquility. Every morning began with a mesmerizing view of the ancient bridge and the soft light illuminating the streets.
I had breakfast at Caffe Dell'Oro — a café where breakfast becomes a special ritual. The coffee here smells like a memory you always want to come back to.
Of course, it’s impossible to visit Florence without stopping by Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura. This restaurant, where every detail is carefully thought out and every dish is a work of art, is a symphony of taste and style. It’s a place where gastronomy merges with high fashion. Here, I experienced true magic: from the first dishes to the desserts, every bite was filled with idea, passion, and beauty. This dinner became a journey through the history and culture of Florence, reimagined in the incredible dishes by Massimo Bottura.
Another discovery for me was Osteria delle Tre Panche, a small but incredibly cozy osteria that feels like the soul of Tuscany. Here, I experienced the sincerity of flavors, from simple but flawlessly prepared pastas and Tuscan wines to the famous cheese and fragrant truffles. This place seemed to invite me to pause and savor the moment, to immerse myself in the culture, and to taste the true essence of Florence.
Returning here brought me not only joy but also a deep sense of peace and gratitude. Florence is more than just a city; it’s a whole world where the soul comes alive, and where every stone holds its secrets. Here, among the ancient streets, I once again felt like part of something grand and beautiful.
