Hello, beloved!

I could never have imagined that I would fall in love with Morocco so deeply. But my days in Marrakech turned out to be nothing short of a fairy tale. I stayed at Royal Mansour Marrakech — a riad hotel where every corner feels as though it was created to make time flow differently. In the evenings, lanterns cast soft shadows over the arches, and mornings began with the scent of mint and cinnamon tea served in a garden where fountains whispered.

But step outside the gates, and Marrakech greets you with another face — bold and bright. In the Jardin Majorelle, colors seem to go beyond the familiar: cobalt blue, sunlit yellow, lush emerald green. Each step feels like walking through a living painting.

Just next door, the Musée Yves Saint Laurent continues this dialogue of courage. Sketches, fabrics, silhouettes — everything here speaks of how art is born at the intersection of culture and individuality, tradition and daring.

And yet, the real Marrakech reveals itself in its craft. I watched as skeins of wool, dyed by hand, were transformed into carpets and textiles. Red — like the desert sunset, yellow — like burning sand, blue — like the midday sky. These colors don’t just decorate, they speak. The hum of voices, the scent of mint and coriander, the clinking of dishes, the vibrant fabrics fluttering in the wind — you dissolve into it all, becoming part of an endless current of life.

Marrakech is not about order, it is about the beauty of chaos.

I left with the feeling that the fairy tale was still unfolding. And I cannot wait to return.

With love and Eastern passion in my heart,

Sasha 💋
